The LVS® 7500 ISO Verification module verifies any combination of linear, matrix and stacked codes (including PDF-417, Micro PDF, Data Matrix ECC-200, RSS, Composite Codes, QR Code and others) to ISO print quality standards. The bar codes can be in any orientation, with any number and mix of codes on a label, and as many labels across the web or form as required.
Unlike bar code validation, the ISO Verification module actually reads and analyzes the linear or 2-D symbols to published international specifications (i.e. ISO 15415, ISO 15416, and symbology specifications), and then gives that symbol an overall ANSI / ISO grade based on those specifications.
The ten-scan average required by ISO is exceeded with a bar code inspection completed for every two thousandth of an inch (.002") of the bar code height. The camera technology allows more detailed analysis of the bar code and it makes reading of small and truncated codes possible, accurate, and very easy.
Accuracy and repeatability are paramount in bar code verification. The INTEGRA 7500 is the most accurate verifier on the market today with the highest degree of repeatability. This occurs because the operator is not involved in the scanning process. No wand to hold or move, no angle to maintain, and no buttons to push that can affect the overall grade results.
The INTEGRA 7500 Bar Code Station is the most reliable system on the market. There are no moving parts to wear out, no laser to burn out. The lights used with the INTEGRA 7500 are computer monitored and controlled. They automatically adjust to a NIST traceable calibration standard and boast a 20,000 MTBF rating.
This truly unique and powerful instrument is also easy to use. All the popular linear symbologies PLUS the most common 2D Symbologies are supported.
The INTEGRA 7500 meets the International Organization for Standardization’s “Bar Code Print Quality Test Specification (ISO 15416), the American National Standard Institute’s "Guideline for Bar Code Quality’ (ANSI X3.182-1990), the Uniform Code Council (UCC), and the CEN specifications regarding verification methods and methodology. It also meets International Organization for Standardization’s “Bar Code Verifier Conformance Specification” (ISO 15426-1 and ISO 15426-2).
This equipment and its documentation were developed to fit into your company’s existing ISO 9000/9001/9002 policies and procedures.
