A C4000 Combo features both the Auto-Optic scan head (the industry’s most flexible ISO/ANSI method verifier) and the Laser Gun scanner (an extremely easy to use point-and-shoot verifier). Key features include a patented Auto-Optic scan head for full ISO/ANSI verification that allows for eight optical arrangements set-able via menu selections for four aperture sizes and two wavelengths of light. The Laser Gun requires virtually no user training and analyzes most of the essential traditional verification parameters. Repeatability between units is outstanding, making the C4000 an ideal choice for companies supplying the United States Postal Service.

The C4000 analyzes the four linear bar code symbologies used by the USPS: Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5 and Code 93. It incorporates symbology modifier menu choices to allow special checking of various data formats, wide-to-narrow element ratios, mod check characters and UCC/EAN 128 modified Application Identifiers. A programmable ID field and X dimension calculation (Laser Gun scanner only) are also available.
In addition to the ISO/ANSI method parameters, traditional analysis parameters are provided on the LCD without a special mode setting.
Two Auto-Optic scan head 3, 5, 10, 20 mil aperture choices. Both versions provide red (660 nm) and infra-red (925nm) light wavelength selections.

Laser Gun Mode Operation
A C4000 Laser Gun scanner is an extremely easy to use point-and-shoot verifier. It requires virtually no user training and analyzes most of the essential traditional verification parameters. It also provides the ISO/ANSI method decodability calculation and percent of decode information.
If needed, a detailed hard copy printout can be produced from the Inspector C4000 using an optional direct thermal or thermal transfer printer. Learn more about the TP140a Thermal Printer (optional).
If needed, inspection data can transferred to any Windows PC. Once transferred the inspection data can be saved or printed to any standard Window printer. Learn more about the Verifier Computer Interface (optional).
The Inspector C4000 meets the International Organization for Standardization’s “Bar Code Print Quality Test Specification (ISO 15416), the American National Standard Institute’s "Guideline for Bar Code Quality’ (ANSI X3.182-1990), the Uniform Code Council (UCC), and the CEN specifications regarding verification methods and methodology. It also meets International Organization for Standardization’s “Bar Code Verifier Conformance Specification” (ISO 15426-1).
